Mapping and Updating of Wilkerstat 2019 - News - BPS-Statistics Indonesia Pekalongan Municipality

In 2019 BPS held mapping activities carried out simultaneously throughout Indonesia. Pekalongan city also held related mapping updates.

April 22, 2019 was the first day of the SP2020 Wilkerstat Load Mapping and Update field implementation. Some Subdistricts took advantage of this first day to conduct PCL and PML meetings to refresh the material on mapping and updating Wilkerstat loads. In addition, it is also to check the completeness of the documents to be used by the Pastor and PML. Some other Sub-Districts were directly to the field, the Mapping identified the area and PML filled in the SP2020.RS.

When the mappers identified the area, Pemeta brought a map of the SP2020WB-Temporary as a guide in the field, and made use of the Wilkerstat application. To ensure the SLS in the Census Block, the Pemeta asked the local residents about the RT. After the mappers know what RTs are included in the Census Block, the Pemeta pours them in the territory identification list.

Along with the mappers identifying the area, PML filled out the SP2020.RS list. Fill in the list of SP2020.RS carried out by PML by visiting the Village Office. When at this Village office PML fills out the SP2020.RS list based on information provided by the Village Head or village officials who meet the PML.

During the process of identifying the area by the Pemeta and filling in the SP2020.RS by PML there were several problems that occurred in the field. Some of them are the existence of RTs in two Census Blocks, there is a small portion of the RT area in the next BS, inappropriate village boundaries, and so on. As for filling in the SP2020.RS, some villages were unable to provide information on the number of households.

Regarding the problems faced by the Pemeta, some PMLs have already been able to complete themselves in the field, but on some fairly complex issues, PML coordinated with Korlap to resolve these problems. On general issues, the solution is returned to concepts and definitions as during training. Whereas for casuistic problems, special treatment is given based on the mapping and updating of Wilkerstat content.
The results of the territorial identification carried out by the Pemeta and filling in the SP2020.RS conducted by PML will be reconciled, to ensure the names of the SLS in the village. If the names of SLS in one village have been confirmed, then the next PML divides the assignment to the Mapping based on the SLS, then proceed to the stage of making SLS boundaries and taking infrastructure geotagging.
