Even Covid-19 Pandemic Not ended, the Pekalongan City Government is ready to succeed SP2020

After successfully organizing an online Population Census from 15 February to 29 May 2020 to which 20,083 families or around 22.96% responded, BPS Pekalongan City continued its Population Census activities with field data collection conducted by census officers accompanied by the chairman / local RT management. To further optimize the implementation of the September 2020 Population Census because it will involve RT administrators in the September 2020 Population Census field data collection, the BPS of Pekalongan City held a coordination meeting for the implementation of the September 2020 Population Census with the offices, sub-district and village heads (Tuesday, 25/08/2020).
Due to the absence of the Covid-19 pandemic, coordination meetings were held while still implementing health protocols. However, the enthusiasm of the coordination meeting participants did not decrease in following the explanation from the Head of BPS Kota Pekalongan, Drs. Rahyudin, M.Si. In addition, the participants got new knowledge related to the description of the behavior of the people of Pekalongan City in the New Normal Era which was the result of the Socio-Economic Impact Survey of COVID-19. After hearing the explanation from the Head of the Pekalongan City BPS, all participants in the coordination meeting stated that they were ready to support the implementation of the September 2020 Population Census with their willingness to be involved in taking videos of the Pekalongan city government support in implementing the September 2020 Population Census.
