In an effort to accelerate anti-corruption synergy, the government has issued Presidential Regulation Number 54 of 2018 concerning the National Strategy for Prevention of Corruption (Perpres Stranas PK 2018).

In addition, the Government also issued Presidential Regulation Number 59 of 2017 concerning the implementation of the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, where the global goal is to substantially reduce corruption and bribery in all its forms. The 2020-2024 RPJMN also states the target of increasing the value of the Anti-Corruption Behavior Index (IPAK) to 4.14 by 2024.

In this regard, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) measures IPAK through the Anti-Corruption Behavior Survey (SPAK). SPAK measures people's opinions and experiences on corrupt behavior, as well as socialization on anti-corruption.
