In order to increase community participation in development through a gender mainstreaming strategy (PUG) as an effort to improve the Gender Development Index (IPG) and Gender Empowerment Index (IDG) in Pekalongan City, BPS Kota Pekalongan fulfilled an invitation from the City Government through the Pekalongan City DPMPPA to was one of the speakers at the FGD event 'Efforts to Increase IPG and IDG through the PUG Strategy' on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 in the Amarta room.

The event was opened by the Assistant Government, Soesilo, with participants coming from sub-district officials and community leaders. The sources who delivered the material were as follows:
a. Plt. Head of DPMPPA who is concurrently Pekalongan City Government Assistant, Soesilo
b. Pekalongan City Development Planning Agency, Murni Indah Wijayanti ,.
c. Pekalongan City BPS, Nur Saidah, who conveyed the Composite indicator calculation method: IPG and IDG Pekalongan City
d. DPMPPA Pekalongan City, Nur Agustina.
