Accommodation services are an important part of the tourism sector. Along with the times, accommodation services are not only used as a place to stay for travelers, but also as a place for business meetings, seminars, training, wedding receptions, workshops, and other activities.
Besides being closely related to the tourism sector, accommodation services also have a big role in the economic sector of a region. Accommodation service companies/businesses are able to create jobs for the community, assist education and training businesses, and also increase regional income through tax payments.
Seeing the large role, it is considered important to collect data and information about accommodation companies/services.
This month, BPS conducted a 2021 Accommodation Company/Business Survey in 34 provinces and spread across 501 regencies/cities throughout Indonesia, including Pekalongan City.
All star hotels, non-star hotels and other accommodation service providers will be recorded by officers to obtain the characteristics of the profile of business activities/accommodation companies in Indonesia.
