Workshop on Results of Industry Statistics, Mining, Energy and Construction

Taking place at the Harris Hotel Semarang, 23-24 August 2023 a Workshop on the Results of Industrial Statistics, Mining, Energy and Construction Activities was held. This activity itself was attended by 70 people in charge and implementers of the activity from all regency/city BPS offices in Central Java. Also present at the occasion were the person in charge and executor of industrial statistical survey activities and PEK BPS Pekalongan City Triyadi Anugerah Suharto and Dinar Tri Utami.

Sri Diastuti, Coordinator of the Head of Production Statistics Team for Central Java Province BPS in her opening remarks conveyed the high role of the manufacturing, mining, energy and construction and agriculture industries in Central Java's economy. "No less than 60 percent of Central Java's economy is influenced by business activities in the manufacturing, mining, energy, construction and agriculture industries," he explained.

On the same occasion, Tri Karjono, Head of the Industrial Statistics Team for Central Java Province, explained the purpose of this activity. It is said that this workshop was held to evaluate and monitor industrial, mining, energy and construction statistical survey activities which have been taking place half the time this year. “We conduct no less than 25 types of industry and PEK surveys every year. Most of the respondents are companies. We hope that all colleagues will remain enthusiastic and continue to strive to provide the best results for the success of our survey," he said.
