Area Sampling Frame (KSA)

The Area Sampling Framework (KSA) is one of the tasks of the Pekalongan City Central Statistics Agency which is carried out every month, with the aim of obtaining data regarding the harvested area of food crops.

At the beginning of this year, KSA activities fell on the 25th and 26th of January 2024 which were carried out by Pekalongan City BPS field officers with a sample size of 9 segments spread across the Pringrejo, Klego, Soko Duwet, Kuripan Kertoharjo, Degayu, Setono and Kalibaros sub-districts, for sub-districts Pringrejo himself was sampled with 2 segments, while the others only had one (1) segment.

Area Sample frame officers go down to the rice fields every month to photograph observation point areas that will be used as Ubinan samples in each subround. January coincides with the start of the rainy season, so extra preparation is needed in carrying out observations in each segment, so that quality and timely data on food crops can be obtained.
