Statistical Literacy Training

Located in the Computer Laboratory Room of the Archives and Library Service, the Central Statistics Agency of Pekalongan City held a Statistical Literacy Training activity. This event was attended by Statistics Ambassadors from the University of Pekalongan (Unikal), Muhammadiyah University of Pekajangan Pekalongan (UMPP) and Abdurahman Wahid State Islamic University (UIN) as well as employees of the Archives and Library Service of Pekalongan City.

The event was opened by the Head of BPS Pekalongan City, Drs. Rahyudin. M. Si. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude for the presence of all participants and hoped that this training would increase the participants' knowledge of the BPS business process and could maximize the use of BPS products. After the training, it is also hoped that this knowledge can be disseminated so that public statistical literacy can increase. The next speech was from the Head of the Library Division, Mr. Ismanto. In his speech, he hoped that the cooperation that had been established could continue in the future.

Continued with the presentation of training materials by Iqbal, S. ST, the participants seemed enthusiastic in listening to the material and practicing the material obtained directly using the computers that had been provided. The training was closed with the symbolic handover of a training certificate to one of the Statistics Ambassadors and continued with a group photo session.
