Friday, June 24, 2024, the inauguration of the Statistics Corner of the KH. Abdurrahman Wahid State Islamic University was held. Located on the campus of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI), the Head of BPS Pekalongan City, Drs. Rahyudin, M.Si along with the Dean of FEBI, Prof. Dr. Shinta Dewi Rismawati, S.H., M.H. cut the ribbon together as a ceremony to open the Statistics Corner. Located on the 4th floor, this facility is present as a representative of BPS on campus as one of BPS's efforts to improve its role as a sectoral statistics supervisor in the academic field. In his remarks, the Head of BPS Pekalongan City advised all parties to utilize this Statistics Corner to further explore the potential of BPS's data for academic purposes such as college assignments or the preparation of final assignments and statistical consultations.

Before the inauguration ceremony was held, it was preceded by the delivery of material in front of the Lecturers and Students with the theme "Statistical Literacy for Research in Higher Education" delivered by Finda S.ST, M.EKK and Iqbal, S.ST.

It is hoped that the delivery of this material will further increase the knowledge of Lecturers and students in terms of how to obtain and utilize data sourced from BPS.

The Statistics Corner provides services in the form of Offline Data Provision, Online Services and Statistical Consultation.
