At the beginning of 2026, tourism activity in Pekalongan City recorded 146.54 thousand domestic tourist trips. Although this figure reflects an adjustment compared to the end of the previous year, it also highlights the resilience of our city in facing weather-related challenges and accessibility constraints during January.

Amid these conditions, the accommodation sector continued to play an important role, recording a room occupancy rate of 32.76% and an average length of stay of 1.24 nights. These figures serve as an important reminder for all of us to keep improving and preparing to welcome even more visitors to Pekalongan City.
