As part of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Pekalongan City conducted census data collection with the Regional Secretary of Pekalongan City on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
This activity is part of BPS's commitment to producing comprehensive, accurate, and high-quality economic data to support evidence-based policymaking and future economic development. The census covers all segments of society, including government officials.
During the visit, SE2026 enumerators conducted a face-to-face interview and collected information based on the respondent's actual conditions. Once the interview was completed, the enumerators placed an official census sticker on the residence to indicate that the household had been successfully enumerated.
The Regional Secretary welcomed the initiative and encouraged the public to receive SE2026 enumerators and provide accurate and complete information. Active public participation is essential to the success of the 2026 Economic Census and to producing high-quality data for a better Indonesia.
