Abstract

Central Java's export value in March 2023 was US$ 905.01 million, up 10.03 percent compared to February 2023. However, when compared to March 2022, it fell by 23.42 percent.
Central Java's import value in March 2023 was US$ 1,266.29 million, an increase of 50.91 percent compared to imports in February 2023. Likewise, when compared to March 2022's import value, it increased by 25.54 percent.
Central Java's total trade balance in the March 2023 period experienced a deficit of US$ 361.28 million, which was triggered by a deficit in the oil and gas sector, while the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus. The oil and gas sector experienced a deficit of US$ 551.66 million, while the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus of US$ 190.38 million.
