Abstract

  • Central Java's export value in May 2023 was US$ 955.46 million, up 40.99 percent compared to exports in April 2023. Likewise, when compared to May 2022 exports, it increased by 22.89 percent.
  • Central Java's import value in May 2023 was US$ 1,593.03 million, an increase of 62.20 percent compared to imports in April 2023. Likewise, when compared to May 2022 imports increased by 18.98 percent.
  • Central Java's total trade balance in May 2023 experienced a deficit of US$ 637.57 million, which was triggered by a deficit in the oil and gas sector, while the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus. The oil and gas sector experienced a deficit of US$ 805.57 million, but on the other hand the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus of US$ 168.00 million.
