Abstract

The fishery resource potential in the northern waters of Pekalongan City is dominated by small pelagic fish, which live on or near the surface of the sea. These fish are generally small in size and include species such as mackerel, sailfish, trevally, bentong, sardine, and tembang. Given its advantageous geographical position and adequate facilities, this should drive economic activities in Pekalongan City, especially those related to the fisheries sector.
