This intimacy was strengthened by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between BPS Pekalongan City and the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Pekalongan University in the Implementation of Joint Activities related to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education on September 29, 2021.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was attended by the Academic Community of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Pekalongan University (UNIKAL) led by the Dean of FKIP, Dr. Fahrudin Eko Hardiyanto, M.Pd accompanied by three Deputy Deans, three Heads of Study Programs, Head of the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit (UPMF), Head of the Creative and Innovation Laboratory (Lab Kreanova), and Head of the Professional Development Unit, while representatives of BPS Pekalongan City were also led directly by Head of BPS Pekalongan City, Drs. The Head of the General Sub-Section and the Coordinator of the Nerwilis Function along with the innovation team of BPS Pekalongan City. The memorandum of understanding regulates the implementation of educational and teaching activities related to scientific activities which are carried out collaboratively and mutually by UNIKAL FKIP and BPS Pekalongan City, such as: seminars, internships, workshops, symposiums, public lectures and the like. Not only that, the memorandum of understanding also regulates research and service activities that are carried out collaboratively to support new government policies and dissemination of research results.

Hopefully the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding will benefit both parties which in the end will benefit the people of Pekalongan City.
