National Labor Force Survey Officer Training (SAKERNAS) August 2023

BPS City of Pekalongan held the August 2023 SAKERNAS Officer Training on 2 - 3 August 2023 at the Nirwana Hotel, Pekalongan City. This training was attended by 30 field enumerators (PCL) and 12 supervisors (PML).

The training was opened directly by the Head of BPS City of Pekalongan who advised all officers about the obligation to maintain data quality. Officers are also reminded to attend training carefully in order to be able to understand the concepts, definitions and procedures for data collection properly.

In general, the purpose of collecting data for the August 2023 Sakernas is to provide basic continuous employment data. In particular, the August 2023 Sakernas aims to obtain data estimates on the number of working population, the number of unemployed and other employment indicators as well as representative developments at the national, provincial and district/city levels.

It is hoped that the people of Pekalongan City will accept the presence and answer the officer's questions properly and honestly in order to obtain valid and quality employment data.
