On Monday, March 25 2024, BPS Pekalongan City took part in the Quarterly Micro and Small Industry Survey (IMK) Training which was held via zoom by BPS Central Java Province. Even though it is done online, participants' enthusiasm for learning remains high. It is hoped that it can make a better contribution to the development of micro and small industries.

The quarterly IMK survey has a sizable contribution in calculating quarterly gross domestic product (GRDP) figures. The target sample is managers of industrial centers or several businesses that can represent the dominant type of industry at the provincial level. The data collected is in the form of the phenomenon of changes in business activity between consecutive quarters. The enumeration is CAPI using the Fluent Android application.

The training session began by introducing basic materials regarding IMK surveys, KBLI boundary cases, and fluent applications. Participants enthusiastically pay attention to all the information presented by the instructor, and they actively exchange experiences and ask questions about things they don't understand. The friendly and collaborative atmosphere makes it easier for them to understand the concepts being taught.
