“INCREASING COLLABORATION IN THE REALIZATION OF ONE INDONESIAN DATA (SDI) PEKALONGAN CITY”

The FGD SDS Metadata and Statistical Recommendations event which was held on Tuesday, May 7 2024 in the Buketan room was opened by the Assistant for Government and People's Welfare, Mr Soesilo, SH. The FGD activity is a series of statistical development activities held in collaboration between BPS and the Pekalongan City government. The implementation objective, apart from statistical development, is to increase collaboration in the realization of SDI and also increase participation in statistical metadata reporting, application of statistical data standards in sectoral data, and implementation of changes to confirmation mechanisms in statistical recommendations.
The FGD was attended by 50 participants from OPD, BPS, and vertical agencies as well as presenters from BPS Pekalongan City and Dinas Kominfo Pekalongan City. The delivery of the material is accompanied by the implementation of simple filling practices. The first material related to the explanation of SDS and Metadata was delivered by Nur Saidah with the practice of filling in identification of data needs. The second material was explained by Nurchadirin from the Communication and Informatics Service regarding the Mechanism for Reporting and Inspecting Statistical Metadata. Finally, the third material was delivered by Avia Dwi Santi from BPS regarding Statistical Recommendations.
It is hoped that the FGD meeting can increase the competence and commitment of data managers from each OPD to implement SDS in the business processes of statistical activities carried out so that the data produced meets standards, is of higher quality, and can be shared between agencies, both central and regional. The follow-up step for the FGD is planned to include assistance activities for OPD and agencies in Pekalongan City.
