Synergy between BPS and Bapperida in Pekalongan City Development Planning
January 22, 2026 | Other Activities
In the context of planning Pekalongan City’s development for 2026, the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency (Bapperida) of Pekalongan City invited Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Pekalongan City to attend the Data Discussion Meeting for Pekalongan City Development Planning 2026. The meeting was held with the Bapperida team on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, at the Bapperida meeting room.
The Head of Bapperida Pekalongan City, Andrianto, stated that this activity was a follow-up to previous discussions between Bapperida and BPS Pekalongan City regarding data provision for the compilation of Pekalongan City’s Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). During the meeting, BPS Pekalongan City presented an introduction to GRDP along with the data requirements needed for compiling both quarterly and annual GRDP figures for Pekalongan City.
In addition, the meeting also included a socialization session on the 2026 Economic Census, which aims to record Indonesia’s economic conditions. Beyond gaining a deeper understanding of the importance of GRDP compilation, Bapperida also obtained insights into the indicators used in GRDP preparation. This activity is expected not to be limited solely to GRDP-related indicators, but to continue in a sustainable manner with other BPS indicators as well.
