Mayor of Pekalongan Supports the 2026 Economic Census

Data collection for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) was also conducted at the residence of Pekalongan Mayor H.A. Afzan Arslan Djunaid on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. The field officers were accompanied by the Head of BPS-Statistics Pekalongan City during the data collection.

Following the data collection, the Mayor encouraged the community to support SE2026 by providing accurate and complete information to the field officers. He highlighted that the census is a regular BPS program and an important source of information for supporting the formulation of various development policies.

Every piece of information provided helps paint a clearer picture of economic conditions and supports more informed development planning. Information provided to the field officers is also kept confidential in accordance with applicable regulations.
