February 2023 Sakernas enumeration

Starting on February 8 2023, six field enumerators (PCL) of the February 2023 Sakernas collected employment data in Pekalongan City. This February Sakernas will produce data on the number of working population, unemployment, and other employment indicators, as well as information regarding the impact of COVID-19 on employment for the national and provincial levels. The data collection process uses SOP through direct/face-to-face interviews with 140 sample households which will be collected again in August 2023 to find out progress.

Developments in employment conditions have led to changes and improvements to the Sakernas questionnaire. Some of the improvements include: adding answer choices for questions about reasons for being temporarily unemployed, improving questions to gather information on subsistence workers, and questions relating to the form and period of payment/wages.
