Readiness of BPS Kota Pekalongan for the February 2026 Sakernas Instructor Training
January 19, 2026 | BPS Activities
BPS Kota Pekalongan has completed the entire series of Regional Instructor (Inda) training in preparation for the implementation of the February 2026 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). Organized by BPS Province of Central Java, this activity represents a strategic effort to maintain standardized quality in employment data. The training was conducted in two main stages: a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) held from January 2 to 4, 2026, followed by online training sessions via Zoom Meeting from January 6 to 12, 2026.
The primary focus of the training was an in-depth understanding of employment concepts and definitions that form the core foundation of the survey questionnaire. Active participation in both the MOOC and online sessions ensured that Inda possessed solid technical readiness before cascading the materials to field enumerators. As the main reference for labor force indicators in Indonesia, Sakernas demands a high level of accuracy, which can only be achieved through strong mastery of the subject matter by all personnel involved.
Through this training series, Inda are expected to equip field officers with comprehensive understanding, thereby minimizing potential challenges during field implementation. With the completion of the training period, BPS Kota Pekalongan affirms its readiness to successfully carry out the February 2026 Sakernas. This commitment is aimed at producing accurate, up-to-date, and reliable employment data to support well-targeted national development policy formulation.
