Strengthening Synergy: Unikal and BPS Kota Pekalongan Ready for the 2026 Economic Census 📈🤝

Pekalongan – On Monday and Tuesday, March 9–10, 2026, support for the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) continued to grow, this time from the higher education sector. The Rector of Universitas Pekalongan, along with the Dean of FKIP Unikal, expressed full support for this major initiative. The strategic meeting highlighted Unikal’s commitment to supporting the validity of national economic data—going beyond moral support by opening opportunities for students to directly participate as partners in the 2026 Economic Census.

Through this collaboration, Unikal is ready to closely coordinate with BPS Kota Pekalongan to facilitate student involvement in the recruitment of field partners as a form of student empowerment. This participation is expected to provide valuable hands-on experience and practical application of knowledge, while also contributing meaningfully to regional development.
