January 26, 2026 | BPS Activities
Pekalongan, January 23, 2026 – Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Kota Pekalongan conducted an intensive training program for officers of the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) for the February 2026 period. The activity was officially opened by the Head of BPS Kota Pekalongan, Hayu Wuranti, who emphasized the importance of data accuracy and integrity in accurately portraying labor market conditions.
The training materials were delivered by Regional Instructors (InDa), Sobar Dwi Prabowo and Masna Novita Rahmaniar. The training focused on strengthening participants’ understanding of employment concepts and definitions, data collection methodologies, and the operation of the FASIH Mobile Application. Through role-playing methods and group discussions, officers were trained to master field techniques in depth, helping to minimize uncertainty when engaging with respondents.
Sakernas is a key survey specifically designed to collect employment data, including unemployment rates and labor force participation rates.
After completing a series of post-tests and evaluations, all officers were declared competent and ready to safeguard data integrity for the upcoming February Sakernas. BPS Kota Pekalongan remains committed to producing high-quality data as a foundation for well-targeted development planning in Pekalongan City. 📈✨
