April 19, 2026 | BPS Activities

BPS Pekalongan City officially organized the 2026 Tourism Services Survey (SBJP) Officer Training as an initial step to ensure the accuracy of statistical data in the tourism sector. The training was conducted intensively over two days, from March 30–31, 2026, at the BPS Pekalongan City Hall. The event was opened by the Head of BPS Pekalongan City, Mrs. Hayu Wuranti, S.Si, who emphasized the importance of integrity and precision among officers in capturing field conditions so that the resulting data can serve as a solid foundation for effective policymaking.

During the training, a total of 12 officers, consisting of supervisors and enumerators, received technical guidance from the Regional Instructor (Inda), Nurul Kurniasih, S.ST. The sessions focused on understanding concepts and data collection methodologies across various tourism sectors, including the Accommodation Services Survey (VHT-L), the Food and Beverage Services Survey (VREST), and the Tourism Attraction Survey (VDTW). In addition to theoretical presentations and interactive discussions, participants also engaged in hands-on practice using the FASIH application to minimize technical issues during field data collection.

As a form of appreciation for participants’ dedication, the training concluded with the announcement of the best participants, awarded to Azka Muthia, Wilda Al Aluf, and Ulfa Bariroh. With the completion of this training, all officers are expected to be fully prepared and aligned in carrying out their survey duties, ultimately producing accurate, valid, and reliable tourism data for Pekalongan City’s development.
