BPS Kota Pekalongan Strengthens Data Quality through INPEK 2026 Survey Training
April 7, 2026 | BPS Activities
Pekalongan — Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Kota Pekalongan conducted the 2026 Industrial, Mining, Energy, and Construction Statistics Survey Training (INPEK) on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Held at the BPS Kota Pekalongan Hall, the activity was led directly by the Head of BPS Kota Pekalongan, Hayu Wuranti, S.Si., and attended by all INPEK survey officers. This initiative serves as a strategic step to equip officers with in-depth technical understanding before conducting field data collection.
The training covered various crucial materials, including the listing and data collection stages for the Micro and Small Industry Verification (VIMK), the Large and Medium Industry Survey (SIBS), and the 2026 Annual Survey of Manufacturing Establishments (STPIM). In addition to the industrial sector, participants also received training on the Mining and Energy Survey (PE) and the Construction Establishment Survey (SKTH/SKTR), both annual and quarterly. Through this program, BPS ensures that every officer understands procedures such as verifying active businesses, tracking address changes, and completing complex questionnaires to guarantee data validity.
The main objective of this series of activities is to produce accurate, representative, and up-to-date statistical data as a key foundation for economic development policymaking at both regional and national levels. Beyond survey techniques, the training also integrates the FASIH (Sectoral Statistics Facilitation and Development) program to support the One Data Indonesia initiative. With high-quality data, it is expected that the dynamics of the industrial and construction sectors in Pekalongan City can be clearly captured, enabling more effective and well-targeted development planning.
