BPS Kota Pekalongan Holds 2026 SKTNP Enumerator Training to Ensure the Accuracy of Economic Data

PEKALONGAN – In an effort to ensure the quality of data used in compiling quarterly economic indicators, BPS Kota Pekalongan organized the 2026 Special Quarterly Production Account Survey (SKTNP) Enumerator Training for Goods and Services. The activity was held on Wednesday, March 3, 2026, at the Integrated Statistics Service (PST) of BPS Kota Pekalongan, with the participation of resource persons and survey officers.

The event was officially opened by the Head of BPS Kota Pekalongan, Ms. Hayu Wuranti, who emphasized in her remarks that the quality of SKTNP data is highly crucial as a key foundation for calculating regional economic growth. She expressed her hope that through this training, all officers would gain a strong understanding of the importance of every data point collected, so that the survey results can truly reflect the actual economic conditions in the field.

Throughout the training, participants were equipped with a range of comprehensive technical materials, starting from survey methodology—including the sample framework based on the Statistical Business Register (SBR)—to the appropriate methods for sample selection. In addition, participants also received in-depth explanations of the concepts and definitions used in the questionnaire, covering aspects such as production, income, labor, and the implementation of an accrual-based recording system to ensure more accurate reporting.

The discussion session was conducted interactively, featuring various field case studies such as the classification of transportation agents and the business coverage of lodging services for foreign residents. As the closing part of the activity, participants underwent an evaluation to measure their understanding of the materials before conducting field data collection. Through this training, it is expected that all officers will share the same understanding so that the resulting data remains accurate, relevant, and accountable.
