Capturing the Clean Water Sector, BPS Pekalongan City Conducts Q1 2026 Survey

April 27, 2026 | BPS Activities

Pekalongan — Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Pekalongan City is currently conducting the Quarterly Clean Water Company Survey (VAB) for the first quarter of 2026. The activity takes place from April 1 to April 20, 2026, collecting company performance data for the period January to March. This effort ensures the availability of accurate and continuous statistical data to monitor the development of the water supply sector in Pekalongan City.

The survey covers all piped water supply companies, with key parameters including production volume, value of water distributed, number of employees, and the use of chemicals for water treatment. The collected data plays a crucial role as the foundation for compiling GRDP under the Water Supply, Waste Management, and Recycling sector. In addition, this survey supports the achievement of SDG 6, which aims to ensure access to clean water and proper sanitation for all.

BPS Pekalongan City encourages all respondents to provide complete and timely data to support national data quality. The resulting statistical information will serve as a primary reference for the government in development planning and evaluating clean water service policies. With strong data integrity, public services are expected to continue improving for a better Indonesia.
