The First Day of the 2026 Economic Census Field Enumeration Begins in Pekalongan City

PEKALONGAN – Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Pekalongan City officially launched the field enumeration phase of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) on Monday, June 15, 2026. A total of 251 field officers, recruited through BPS's Statistical Partner program, were deployed simultaneously to collect information on businesses and economic activities across Pekalongan City.

To ensure the quality and reliability of the data collected, all BPS Pekalongan City staff participated in field supervision on the first day of enumeration. Their role was to support field officers and ensure that all data collection activities were conducted in accordance with the census methodology and established operational standards.

The Head of BPS Pekalongan City, Hayu Wuranti, accompanied by the Chair of the SE2026 Implementation Team for Pekalongan City, Nurul Kurniasih, also conducted on-site supervision to monitor field operations and provide guidance and encouragement to the enumeration teams.
