July 3, 2026 | BPS Activities
PEKALONGAN – Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Pekalongan City held a coordination meeting for 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) field officers from all subdistricts on Monday, June 29, 2026. The meeting was organized to monitor the progress of field enumeration, review supervision findings, and formulate strategies to further improve the quality of data collection.
The meeting forms part of BPS Pekalongan City's ongoing monitoring and evaluation efforts, which have been conducted continuously since the first week of field operations. Earlier activities included the 2-1-2-1 Evaluation Meeting involving Field Enumerators (PPL), Field Supervisors (PML), and Subdistrict Census Coordinators (Koseka), as well as weekly online coordination meetings held every Friday to address operational challenges and strengthen communication among field teams.
During the event, the Head of BPS Central Java Province, Ali Said, who was on an official visit to BPS Pekalongan City, delivered guidance and encouragement to field officers grouped into four classes based on their assigned subdistricts. He expressed appreciation for the officers' dedication and emphasized the importance of conducting data collection with accuracy, professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
The program also included interactive discussions led by regional instructors, where participants reviewed census concepts and addressed practical issues encountered during fieldwork. These sessions enabled field officers to identify appropriate solutions while ensuring that all decisions remained consistent with the official SE2026 methodology and operational guidelines.
Through continuous coordination and evaluation, BPS Pekalongan City is committed to maintaining the highest standards of data quality throughout the 2026 Economic Census. The resulting economic data will provide a reliable foundation for evidence-based economic planning and policymaking at both the regional and national levels.
