GDP/GRDP is useful for measuring economic growth, as an indicator of development success. Sources of data for calculating GDP/GRDP in Service Category Business Fields include business income data and business income data and production data/production indicators from service business field statistics. However, some of this data is difficult to obtain, especially for quarterly periods. Therefore, a Special Quarterly Survey of Services Production Balance (SKTNP goods and Services) was carried out to calculate the GRDP of Pekalongan City. The purpose of the survey is to obtain the latest and fastest information regarding business/company development through developments in business income and production indicators in the services category. will be used in preparing quarterly GDP.

There are eight categories covered by this SKTNP Services survey, which are spread throughout the Regency area, and the sample was determined by BPS Central Java Province by looking at the representation and distribution of data in the Pekalongan City area. This survey officer is an organic BPS, with a quarterly survey pattern. For companies affected by the sample, there are 16 samples of SKTNP Goods and Services.
