BPS Pekalongan City Intensifies Outreach for the 2026 Economic Census in Kuripan Yosorejo Village

Pekalongan – Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Pekalongan City conducted an outreach session on the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) as part of an event organized by the Kuripan Yosorejo Village Government on Friday, March 13, 2026. Held at the Kuripan Yosorejo Village Hall, the activity was integrated with the distribution of RT/RW operational assistance for January to March 2026. BPS utilized this opportunity to engage community leaders who play a key role at the grassroots level.

On this occasion, M. Habibulhaq Faiz, as the speaker from BPS Pekalongan City, provided in-depth education to RT and RW leaders regarding the essence of the Economic Census. It was explained that SE2026 is the largest economic data collection program in Indonesia, conducted every ten years to produce comprehensive baseline data across all economic sectors. The data collected will serve as a crucial foundation for the government in formulating policies and planning national and regional development based on accurate data.

Furthermore, BPS explained that field implementation of SE2026 is scheduled from May to August 2026. During this period, officers will conduct business listing and questionnaire interviews to capture the structure and potential of the economy comprehensively. Through this outreach conducted alongside the village’s official agenda, BPS Pekalongan City hopes that community leaders can help educate residents to provide honest and transparent data, ensuring a smooth data collection process.
