BPS Pekalongan City Delivers SE2026 Outreach at GOW Halalbihalal Event

PEKALONGAN — Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Pekalongan City delivered an outreach session on the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) as part of the Halalbihalal event organized by the Pekalongan City Women’s Organizations Association (GOW). The event took place at the Official Residence of the Deputy Mayor of Pekalongan on Monday, April 6, 2026, and was attended by GOW board members and participants.

The event began with opening remarks by Dinar Tri Utami, followed by the main presentation delivered by Finda Rahmawati. The outreach aimed to raise awareness of the importance of SE2026 as Indonesia’s most comprehensive economic data collection, conducted every ten years to support development planning.

In her presentation, Finda explained that SE2026 will cover all business scales, from micro enterprises to large companies, from May to August 2026. Enumerators assigned to the survey are official partners equipped with proper identification and assignment letters to conduct door-to-door data collection.

Through this activity, BPS hopes that GOW members can act as ambassadors to encourage the public to actively participate in the success of SE2026, contributing to the creation of high-quality economic data for Indonesia.
