BPS Pekalongan City Conducts SE2026 Outreach at Pekalongan District Court

PEKALONGAN – Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Pekalongan City conducted an outreach session on the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. The activity took place in the Mediation Room of the Pekalongan District Court Class IB and was attended by administrators of POSBAKUM (Legal Aid Post) within the institution.

In her presentation, Nur Saidah explained that the Economic Census is a decennial data collection aimed at providing accurate and comprehensive economic data as a basis for national development planning. SE2026 will cover all economic sectors without exception, offering a complete picture of economic potential and supporting data-driven policymaking.

Participants showed strong enthusiasm during the discussion session, which explored the methodology of the census implementation. The field phase for business listing and questionnaire data collection is scheduled to take place from May to August 2026. Through this outreach, it is expected that all stakeholders will better understand both the essence and technical aspects of the census to ensure the success of Indonesia’s largest economic data collection program.
