Badan Pusat Statistik Pekalongan City Strengthens Sectoral Statistics Development at EPSS Focus Locations

PEKALONGAN CITY – Badan Pusat Statistik Pekalongan City conducted intensive technical assistance for two Regional Government Agencies (OPDs) designated as Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS) focus locations, namely Dinperinaker and Dinperpa, with support from Dinkominfo Kota Pekalongan as the regional data custodian, on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the BPS Pekalongan City Hall.

The activity focused on strengthening the quality of sectoral statistics implementation, particularly in ensuring well-organized and comprehensive documentation throughout every stage of the statistical business process. From data collection and processing to dissemination, all processes were emphasized to be properly documented in accordance with the principles of Satu Data Indonesia.

In addition to technical guidance, the meeting also served as a joint evaluation forum to identify areas that still require improvement. This is essential to ensure that statistical activities carried out by the OPDs are increasingly aligned with applicable standards and capable of producing accurate, consistent, and accountable data.

Through continuous guidance and strong synergy between data producers and the regional data custodian, it is expected that the quality of sectoral data in Pekalongan City will continue to improve and serve as a solid foundation for regional development policymaking.
